Biography
David B. Haley is a Democratic state senator representing Kansas Senate District 4, which covers parts of Kansas City, Kansas, and eastern Wyandotte County. Born on October 29, 1958, in Kansas City, Kansas, he has served in the Kansas Senate since 2001 and, by 2023, became the longest-serving member of the chamber. As the only attorney in the Kansas Senate Democratic Caucus, he is known for his legal expertise and deep roots in the Kansas City area.
