Biography
David G. Haggan is a Republican member of the Maine State Senate representing District 10 , which includes towns in Penobscot County and Hancock County . He assumed office on December 3, 2024, after winning the general election on November 5, 2024; his current term ends December 1, 2026. A native of the area with roots in Waterville, East Millinocket, and Hampden, he is married to Kimberly Haggan , with two children: Jennifer and Nicholas. Haggan is an avid outdoorsman involved in fishing, hunting, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and volunteering with community groups like the Hampden Rifle & Pistol Club, NRA, Anah Shrine, and Freemasons Mystic Lodge #65. He attends Calvary Chapel in Orrington and retired in 2024 after over 36 years as a social studies teacher.
