David Frockt is a Democratic politician and attorney who represented Washington's 46th Legislative District in the State Senate from 2011 to 2023. The district includes North Seattle, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, and neighborhoods such as Broadview, Bryant, Greenwood, Lake City, Haller Lake, Hawthorne Hills, Laurelhurst, Maple Leaf, Matthews Beach, Northgate, Ravenna, View Ridge, Wedgwood, and Windermere. Notable achievements include sponsoring gun control legislation, such as banning bump stocks, adding domestic violence to firearm prohibitions, and raising the semi-automatic rifle purchase age to 21 with enhanced background checks and school emergency systems.
