David Faulkner is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 46 since 2014. District 46 includes portions of Mountain Brook, Homewood, Hoover, and Jefferson County. A father of three and husband to Nancy, he maintains a civil trial practice as a partner at Christian & Small, focusing on areas like premises liability, products liability, commercial transportation, personal injury, insurance, fraud, and business litigation. Notable positions include Vice-Chair of the House Insurance Committee , Chair of the State of Alabama Consumer Lending Task Force , and member of committees such as Judiciary, Financial Services, and Jefferson County. He has also served on the Alabama Judicial System Study Commission , Alabama Holocaust Commission, and Alcoholic Beverage Control Reform Task Force, and is involved with the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce as former President and current Vice President.

Education and Political Experience

Faulkner was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1994 and practices in Alabama state courts and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and all three U.S. District Courts in Alabama. His political experience began with election to the Alabama House in 2014, where he continues to serve as a Republican representative for District 46, emphasizing constituent input on district and state issues.
