Biography
David Maughan Cannon is a Republican representative in the Idaho House of Representatives representing District 30A. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and is now based in Blackfoot, Idaho. He has served in the state legislature since 2020 and is running unopposed in 2026, guaranteeing him another term.
Education
Cannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah .

Cannon has served as a Representative in the Idaho House of Representatives for District 30A since 2020. He was elected in 2020 and won both his 2024 primary and general elections.
