Biography
Dave Zimmerman is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 99th District, which includes parts of Lancaster and Berks Counties, such as the boroughs of Adamstown, Denver, Mohnton, and Terre Hill, and townships including Brecknock, Cumru, East Cocalico, East Earl, Salisbury, and others. Born on April 13, 1956, he was raised on a dairy farm in Lancaster County and is a lifelong resident of the area, living in East Earl Township with his wife, Ruth Ann; they have three children and seven grandchildren. A fiscal conservative first elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022, Zimmerman has a background in agri-business, having served as a sales manager for an international company covering Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and seven eastern states, and on the Lancaster County Agricultural Preservation Board. Notable positions include his service on the Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Environmental and Natural Resource Protection, and Health and Insurance committees for the 2025-26 term.
