Biography

David T. Vieira is a Republican member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 3rd Barnstable district on Cape Cod. Born in Teaticket, Massachusetts, he serves as Third Assistant Minority Leader and has held leadership roles such as Ranking Member of the House Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures, and State Assets, and Ranking Member of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security. Notable achievements include his work post-9/11 on national homeland security initiatives, service as a disaster assistance employee with FEMA, and appointments to commissions like the Massachusetts Military Asset & Security Strategy Task Force and the Special Commission on the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution.
