Biography

Dave Rader is a Republican state senator representing District 39 in the Oklahoma State Senate, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on March 9, 1957, he has deep roots in the district, living there for 47 of his 63 years, attending local schools from Benjamin Franklin Elementary through Will Rogers High School , and raising his family there. A longtime "Tulsa conservative," Rader emphasizes pro-life values, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. His occupation is in sales.

Notable achievements include recognition as one of the Young Oklahomans of the Year in 1989 and NCAA District Coach of the Year in 1991 for leading the University of Tulsa's Freedom Bowl Champion football team to a 22nd national ranking. He served on the American Football Coaches Association Ethics Committee and prioritized high graduation rates for his teams. Rader is inducted into four Halls of Fame: Will Rogers High School, Independence Bowl, University of Tulsa Athletic , and Tulsa Public Schools Athletic.

He sponsored key legislation like SB 733 to reduce regulations for Tulsa developers using third-party inspectors and extended tax incentives for development.
