Biography
Dave Hall is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives representing District 62, which includes all of Brown County and portions of Monroe and Jackson counties. Born in Bedford, Indiana, and raised in Southern Indiana, he graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 2001 and resides in Norman, Indiana, with his wife Bradie and three daughters: twins Hayden and Sydney, and Gabby. He owns Dave Hall Crop Insurance, farms 500 acres of corn and soybeans with his father, and serves as a director for Jackson County REMC and a special deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. Hall is an active member of Restoration Church of the Nazarene in Bedford.
Notable achievements include winning a razor-thin 2022 election against Democrat Penny Githens by 74 votes after a recount, securing his seat since November 22, 2022. He previously served as Jackson County Councilman , past president of the council, and on various local boards including the Redevelopment Commission, Industrial Development Corporation, Owen Township Advisory Board, Emergency Management Board, and Ambulance Board.
