Biography
Darrell Weaver is a Republican state senator representing District 24 in Oklahoma, based in Moore. Elected in 2018, he is a fourth-generation Oklahoman with a extensive career in law enforcement, including 28 years at the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, where he rose to Director in 2006. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame in 2014 and has championed public safety, small businesses, constitutional freedoms, economic growth in aerospace and tourism, and efforts against drug cartels and human trafficking. Weaver is running as a Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor in the 2026 primary. A fitness enthusiast, pilot, and family man with deep faith, he has served on numerous boards, including the national CALEA Commissioners board since 2021, and as CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma from 2015 to 2018.
