Biography
Dara Torre is a Democrat representing Washington-2 in the Vermont House of Representatives, covering the towns of Duxbury, Fayston, Moretown, Waitsfield, and Warren. A resident of Moretown in Washington County for over 20 years, she has been a member of the House since 2023 and serves as Clerk of the House Committee on Energy and Digital Infrastructure, as well as on the Clean Energy Development Board. Notable achievements include a perfect 100% score from Vermont Conservation Voters in 2026 and lifetime, reflecting strong environmental advocacy, and support for initiatives like S.27 for medical debt relief. She also works as Moretown’s energy coordinator, serves on the Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice board, and is a Mad River Valley Rotary member.
