Danny McCormick is a Republican serving as Louisiana House District 1 representative since January 2020, covering Caddo Parish and corresponding to Senate Districts 38 and 39. He was re-elected on October 14, 2023, with 66% of the vote and is eligible to serve through 2028. As owner of M & M Oil, he has founded community organizations including the Caddo Parish Alliance, Caddo Lake's Last Stand, and Operation Golden Arrow. Notable positions include service on committees for Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development; Commerce; Natural Resources and Environment; and the House Select Committee on Homeland Security, plus membership in the Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation and Louisiana Rural Caucus.
