Biography

Daniel Linville

Daniel Linville is a Republican politician and business owner representing District 22 in the West Virginia House of Delegates. A lifelong resident of West Virginia, Linville was born and raised in Cabell County and currently resides in Milton, WV. He works as an Information Technology Director in his private sector career.

Linville was initially appointed to the House of Delegates in August 2018 representing the 16th district after C.E. Romine resigned. He successfully sought reelection in 2020 and subsequently transitioned to represent District 22, where he continues to serve.

Education

Linville earned his Bachelor's Degree from Marshall University. He attended Cabell Midland High School prior to his university education.

He has provided testimony about his broadband legislation before the North Carolina House of Representatives, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and the Southern Legislative Conference.

Linville serves on the Board of Directors of the Keith Albee Performing Arts Theater and is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Milton, Cabell County Farm Bureau, and Cabell-Wayne Beekeeper's Association.
