Biography
Dana Max Stein is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 11B in Baltimore County. First elected in 2006 , he previously represented the full District 11 until redistricting in 2023. Notable achievements include serving as Speaker Pro Tem and acting Speaker in December 2025, Vice-Chair of the Environment and Transportation Committee , current Chair of its Environment Subcommittee and member of the Energy Subcommittee, and co-chair of the Financial Education and Capability Commission since 2013. He has represented Maryland on the Commission on Climate Change since 2015 and founded Civic Works, a Baltimore nonprofit focused on community service, urban farming, and youth development.
