Dan Woog is a Republican state representative serving Colorado House District 19, which includes the communities of Erie, Firestone, Frederick, Dacono, parts of Longmont, and unincorporated areas of Weld and Boulder counties. A real estate broker and small business owner from Frederick, Colorado, Woog has a history of public service, including two terms as a Trustee for the Town of Erie . He previously represented House District 63 from 2021-2023, served on the Energy & Environment Committee, and was ranking member of the State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs Committee. After losing a 2022 reelection bid in the redrawn District 19, he won a narrow victory in the 2024 general election against Democrat Jillaire McMillan, confirmed by an automatic recount. Notable achievements include bipartisan work on legislation benefiting schools and transportation, lowering taxes, protecting Coloradans, and supporting law enforcement. He currently serves as ranking member of the Energy & Environment Committee and on the Transportation, Housing, & Local Government Committee, and is President of the Aspen Ridge School Building Corporation.
