Biography
Dan Wolgamott is a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party representing District 14B in central Minnesota, including the city of St. Cloud and parts of Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns Counties. Born on October 24, 1990, in Saint Cloud, he has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2019, currently in his fourth term after reelections in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Notable achievements include serving as Assistant Majority Leader , Speaker Pro Tempore since January 2023, and co-authoring the "Minnesota Bitcoin Act" in 2025 to enable cryptocurrency payments and investments for the state. He announced his candidacy for State Auditor in the 2026 election. Wolgamott is married to Nicole with two children, Lily and Polly, and is Lutheran.
