Dan Swanson is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 71st District in western Illinois, which includes cities and towns such as Macomb, Galesburg, Colona, Coal Valley, Orion, Windsor, Rio, Sherrard, Carbon Cliff, East Moline, Monmouth, Knoxville, Bushnell, Roseville, Woodhull, Alpha, and Prairie City. Born on July 30, 1959, and a native of Woodhull, he has focused on issues like veterans' affairs, education, public safety, agriculture, mental health, and first responders.
