A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new section to chapter 1-08 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to requiring the state to observe daylight saving time year round; to repeal section 40-01-20 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to daylight saving time; and to provide a contingent effective date.
ND would adopt year-round time (DST or standard) once federal law permits, ending biannual clock changes; contingent on federal action and neighboring states.
A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new section to chapter 27-11 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to admission to the bar examination through an apprenticeship program developed, established, and implemented by the supreme court.
Establishes a state bar apprenticeship as an alternative to law school, letting graduates sit the ND bar after a 4-year degree and 2,000 hours of supervised engagement.
AN ACT to amend and reenact sections 39-06-42, 39-06.1-06, and 39-06.1-09 and paragraph 23 of subdivision a of subsection 3 of section 39-06.1-10 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to operating a motor vehicle while driving privileges are suspended or revoked, the amount of statutory fees, the definition of moving violations, and entries against a driving record; and to provide a penalty.
