Biography
Daniel Noyes is a Democratic representative for Lamoille-2 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2016 or 2017. A resident of Wolcott, Vermont, he has lived there with his wife Amy and two children for over 20 years, previously residing in Hyde Park. For the past 15 years, he worked as Director of the RSVP program at Central Vermont Council on Aging, engaging older Vermonters in volunteer service. He previously served as chair of the Wolcott Planning Commission, coordinator of the Wolcott School ski and snowboard program, and board member of the Friends of the Johnson Library. Notable positions include service on the boards of SerVermont , Vermont Commission on Alzheimer's and Related Disorders, and Copley Hospital. In the legislature, he serves on the Human Services committee.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: B.S. in Environmental Science from Johnson State College; Certification in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College.
- Political Experience: Elected to Vermont House of Representatives, District Lamoille-2 , 2016/2017–present; member of Human Services committee.
