Biography
Dan McKeon was born in Sweetwater, Nebraska, and grew up on a family farm in Sherman County. He graduated from Ravenna High School in 1984 and earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1989. McKeon served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1986 to 1992. With over 30 years of experience in agribusiness, he has been deeply involved in Nebraska's agricultural community. McKeon is a Fellow of the Nebraska LEAD Program and has been active in organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and served as a troop leader.
