Biography
Dan Hutchison is a Democratic Assembly Member representing District 4 in the New Jersey General Assembly, covering parts of Atlantic, Camden, and Gloucester counties, including municipalities such as Buena, Buena Vista, Chesilhurst, Franklin, Gloucester Township, Monroe, Newfield, Washington, Waterford, and Winslow. A father of four and attorney with nearly 30 years of experience helping New Jerseyans facing bankruptcy save their homes, he serves as Deputy Whip since 2026 and was elected to the Assembly in 2024.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Rider College; J.D. from Widener University School of Law; LL.M. in Bankruptcy from St. John's University.
- Political Experience: Five-term Gloucester Township Councilman prior to Assembly service; currently in the General Assembly ; advocates for economic policies supporting working families, consumer protections, small businesses, and public education.
