Biography
Dan Foreman is a Republican Idaho State Senator representing District 6, which covers parts of Benewah and Latah counties. Born Daniel David Foreman III on September 20, 1953, in Lake Forest, Illinois, he is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel with 30 years of service, including as a combat veteran, master navigator on KC-135 tankers and C-130 aircraft, and vice commander of the 168th Air Refueling Wing. He later served 11 years with the Moscow Police Department, retiring as a Level One Reserve Officer. Foreman is married to Maria , with 7 children and over 20 grandchildren; he describes himself as a Christian conservative Republican and is a life member of the NRA, Military Officers Association of America, and VFW. First elected to the Idaho Senate in 2016 for District 5 , he served until 2018, was reelected to District 6 in 2022, and continues in office.

Commercial pilot and amateur radio operator.
