Biography
Senator Dan Dernulc
Dan Dernulc is a Republican state senator representing Indiana Senate District 1, which includes a portion of Lake County in northwest Indiana. He was elected to the Indiana General Assembly in 2022 and sworn in on November 22, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Highland, Indiana, Dernulc is committed to conservative fiscal policy and protecting local communities from neighboring state challenges. He advocates for low taxes, reduced government spending, and support for American workers. Dernulc is married to Cindy and has raised four children and three grandchildren in Highland.
Education
Dernulc holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University Northwest . His engineering background has provided him with extensive understanding of the telecommunications industry.
