Biography
Dan Daley is a Democrat representing Florida House District 96 in Broward County. Born on February 16 in Huntington, New York, he moved to Florida in 1996 and resides in Coral Springs, where he works as a prosecutor. Elected to the Florida House on June 18, 2019, and reelected since, he previously served as Coral Springs City Commissioner and Vice Mayor from 2012-2019, becoming the youngest elected official in city history at the time. Notable affiliations include President of the Broward League of Cities, Chair of the Florida League of Cities Urban Administration Policy Committee, and board member of the Florida League of Cities Executive Committee. Achievements include the Florida League of Cities Defender of Home Rule Award, Home Rule Hero , Stand with Parkland School Safety Champion, and Florida National Guard Charles Maddox Patriotism Award.
