Biography
Dalton Banks is a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 26 since January 2023. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to educator parents, he developed a strong sense of duty early, volunteering at local shelters. Banks won the Republican primary in August 2022 with 56% of the vote after incumbent Jamie Flitner's retirement and was unopposed in the general election. His legislative priorities include improving rural healthcare access, protecting public lands, and promoting renewable energy, making Wyoming a model for sustainable development. He serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and remains active in his community as a Little League coach, food bank volunteer, and mentor.
