Biography
Dale Patten is a Republican state senator representing North Dakota's 26th District, encompassing McKenzie County and part of Dunn County. He was first elected to the North Dakota Senate in 2018, initially serving District 39 before redistricting placed him in District 26. Prior to his legislative career, Patten worked as a banker, holding positions such as Market President at Cornerstone Bank from 1983 to 2017 and President of McKenzie County Bank from 1983 to 2015. He also served on the McKenzie County Commission from 2000 to 2012. Patten is married to Joy, and they have two children.
