Biography

Daisy Berbeco is a Democratic representative for Chittenden-21 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2023. Born in Alaska and residing in Winooski, Chittenden County, her career centers on mental health and substance use advocacy, policy, and practice improvement. She won her seat in the 2022 general election with 1,813 votes . Notable achievements include leadership roles such as Director of Special Projects at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Senior Advisor for Mental Health Policy at the Vermont Department of Mental Health, and Secretary for the Finance & Policy Division of the National Association of Mental Health Program Directors.
