Cyril Aures

Cyril Aures, commonly known as Cy Aures, is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives representing Merrimack County District 13, which encompasses Chichester and Pittsfield. He has served in this position since 2022. He resides at 17 Perry Brook Road in Chichester, New Hampshire.

Political Experience

Aures has been active in Republican politics in New Hampshire beyond his legislative role. Prior to his election to the state house, he served as a campaign volunteer for several Republican candidates, including Eddie Edwards, Paul Halverson, Don Bolduc, Howard Pearl, and Chuck Morse. His legislative work includes sponsoring bills on various policy matters, including legislation related to the use of physical force in defense of a person.

Background

Before entering the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Aures worked as a retired accountant, bringing professional financial expertise to his legislative responsibilities. His district, Merrimack 13, elects two representatives, and Aures serves alongside fellow representative Clayton Wood.
