Biography

Craig Goldman is a Republican U.S. Representative for Texas's 12th Congressional District, which includes parts of Tarrant and Parker Counties. Born on October 3, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, he is a fifth-generation Texan and fourth-generation Fort Worth native with deep Jewish roots and a family legacy of community involvement spanning over a century. A real estate businessman, he previously worked in his family's gourmet food and wine store and on Republican campaigns at local, state, and national levels. Notable achievements include helping pass Texas's largest property tax cut, advocating for border security and Second Amendment rights, chairing the Texas House Energy Resources Committee to support the oil and gas industry, and serving as Texas House Republican Caucus Chair and Majority Leader. In Congress, he serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and supports U.S. aid to Israel and Ukraine.
