Biography
Craig J. Coughlin is a Democratic Assembly Member representing New Jersey's 19th Legislative District, which includes municipalities such as Carteret, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy, and Woodbridge. Born on January 31, 1958, in Perth Amboy , he has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since 2010 and has been the Speaker of the Assembly since 2018, making him the longest-serving Speaker in New Jersey history. He is married to Letitia with three children: Craig, Vincent, and Nicholas. Coughlin is a partner at Rainone Coughlin Minchello law firm and has a background in municipal law, including roles as a municipal court judge, prosecutor, and public defender.
