Biography

Cory Mills is a Republican U.S. Representative for Florida's 7th congressional district, serving since 2023. Born on July 13, 1980, in Winter Haven, Florida, and raised in Auburndale, he is a businessman, Army combat veteran, and Bronze Star recipient with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Pakistan, and Somalia. Notable achievements include evacuating 77 Americans from Israel after the October 7, 2023 attacks, rescuing Americans from Haiti and Afghanistan, and supporting anti-terrorism training for Kurdish forces. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and previously advised the Defense Business Board under the Trump administration. Mills co-founded Amtec Less-Lethal Systems and Pacem Solutions International, building significant business success post-military. He won election in 2022 and was re-elected in 2024.
