Biography

Corey P. Paris represents District 145 in the Connecticut House of Representatives, serving Stamford in lower Fairfield County. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 3, and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, he assumed office on May 4, 2021, and won re-election on November 5, 2024. Paris is committed to public service and community activism, focusing on eradicating inequality and supporting marginalized communities. Currently, he serves as Chief Impact Officer at Person to Person in Darien, aiding 28,000 individuals with food, clothing, housing, and economic opportunities. Previously, he was Chief Development Officer at Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County, the state's second-largest early childhood education center. Notable achievements include the 2023 Council of State Governments 20 Under 40 Leadership Award, NAACP Most Influential Black in Connecticut , and Connecticut Voices for Children Champion .
