Biography

Conor Casey is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Washington-4 district since 2023. He serves as Executive Director of GunSense Vermont, a nonprofit focused on reducing gun violence, and chairs Vermont’s Irish American Legislative Caucus. Notable achievements include over a decade as a union organizer and advocate, passing strong whistleblower protection and anti-privatization laws as Political Director of the Vermont State Employees' Association, and being honored by the Irish Echo as one of the top 100 Irish in the labor movement in 2013. He lives in Montpelier, where he served three terms on the City Council and is a member of the Homelessness Task Force. In his spare time, he enjoys disc golf and playwriting.
