Biography
Colin Wellenkamp is a Republican representative for Missouri's 105th House District, elected in 2024. He resides in St. Charles, Missouri, and serves in the Missouri House of Representatives. A leader in sustainable development and environmental policy with over two decades of experience, he previously served as executive director of the Mississippi River Cities & Towns Initiative , building a coalition of 102 mayors across ten states to restore the Mississippi Corridor's economy and ecology. He is committed to supporting law enforcement for community safety and ensuring resources for St. Charles schools to maintain excellence.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Saint Louis University, Creighton University School of Law, and George Washington University Law School.
- Professional Experience: Worked as an environmental scientist; currently an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University and Washington University in St. Louis; executive director of MRCTI until his election.
