Biography
Cody Reim is a Republican representative for Arizona's Legislative District 3 in the Arizona House of Representatives. A small business owner and Rio Verde Foothills resident, he was unanimously appointed by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on March 17, 2026, to fill the vacancy left by former Rep. Joe Chaplik, who resigned to pursue a congressional campaign. Reim, a political newcomer and family man with three of his four children born in the district, has lived in Arizona for thirteen years and prioritizes water supply issues, having led public awareness efforts during his community's water crisis. He is running for a full term in the November 2026 General Election.
Education and Political Experience
Limited public information is available on Reim's formal education. His political experience began with local advocacy on water issues in Rio Verde Foothills, where he was a vocal leader seeking long-term solutions amid supply challenges. In March 2026, local Republicans nominated him alongside two others to replace Chaplik, leading to his appointment and swearing-in as state representative. His legislative focus centers on state water priorities.
