Cody Maynard is a Republican state representative serving Oklahoma House District 21, which covers parts of Bryan and Marshall Counties including Durant and surrounding areas like Armstrong, Calera, and Silo.

Born in 1986 in Gatesville, Texas, Cody Maynard moved to Durant, Oklahoma, in 2010 with his wife, Crystal, whom he married in 2009. They have three children and are active members of Victory Life Church, where he served as pastor of business administration from 2020. A certified public accountant since 2012 with over 15 years in accounting and financial management, Maynard emphasizes fiscal responsibility, limited government, and conservative values. He is involved in community efforts such as the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, Serve Durant, Keep Durant Clean and Green, and as treasurer of Trail Life Troop 2911, a Christian outdoor program for boys. Elected in 2022 without opposition, he chairs the Government Modernization and Technology Committee and serves on committees including Administrative Rules, Appropriations and Budget Finance, Commerce and Economic Development Oversight, and Common Education.
