Clint Owlett is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing the 68th District, which includes all of Tioga County and parts of Bradford County. Born in Middlebury Center, Tioga County, he grew up on a dairy farm, instilling values of hard work and faith. He lives in Morris with his wife, Lauren, and their four children: Colton, Anna, Calvin, and Chase. Owlett has owned Owlett Custom Builder since 2012, previously worked at Owlett’s Sunshine Farm Market and Ski Sawmill Family Resort, served as director of program development at Three Springs Ministry, and was a member of the New Covenant Academy school board. Notable achievements include sponsoring laws aiding infants born to opioid-dependent parents, enhancing law enforcement tools against opioids, establishing the Dairy Investment Program, and addressing flooding in regional creeks. He supports agriculture deregulation, dairy promotion, drug law amendments like classifying carfentanil as Schedule II, anti-abortion measures such as the heartbeat bill and Down Syndrome Protection Act, and religious freedoms during COVID-19. Appointed to the Joint Legislative Conservation Committee , he serves on the Center for Dairy Excellence board and Pennsylvania College of Technology board. Elected Minority Caucus Secretary for 2025-present.

Education and Political Experience

Education: Graduated from New Covenant Academy in 2001; attended True North Internship at Three Springs Ministries, focusing on experiential education, wilderness exploration, camp ministry, and servant leadership.

Political Experience: Elected in a special election on May 15, 2018, and sworn in June 5, 2018, to succeed Matthew Baker for the 68th District . Reelected for four consecutive terms. Serves on committees including Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Appropriations, Fish and Game, and Health.
