Marcia S. "Cia" Price is a Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing District 85 , previously District 95 . Born in 1980 in Hampton, Virginia, she is an African American Episcopalian woman and director of the non-profit Virginia BLOC , focused on building African American political power and community empowerment in Newport News and Hampton. Notable positions include Chair of the Privileges and Elections Committee and service on General Laws and Health and Human Services committees; she advocates for gun violence prevention through prevention, intervention, enforcement, and re-entry, as well as addressing student loan debt.
