Biography
Chris Todd is a Republican state representative for District 73 in Tennessee, covering Madison County in West Tennessee. Born on November 26, 1966, he was raised in West Tennessee, is married to Melissa for over 33 years, and has three adult children. A lifelong Baptist, he serves as a deacon for more than 27 years at West Jackson Baptist Church. Notable positions include Chairman of the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, with additional roles on committees such as Calendar and Rules, Civil Justice, Education Instruction, Judiciary, and Transportation. He is a strict Second Amendment proponent , pro-life advocate, Constitution originalist, and supporter of limited government. Achievements include operating a small business for over 27 years, creating jobs in Madison County, and extensive community involvement, such as chairing NFIB State Leadership Council and Environmental Advisory Council, serving on the Tennessee Advisory Council on State Procurement, Madison County Environmental Appeals Board, Southwest Development District Executive Committee, and West TN River Basin Authority Board of Directors.
