Biography
Chris Tague is a Republican Assembly Member representing District 102 in the New York State Assembly, which includes all of Greene and Schoharie counties, along with parts of Delaware, Albany, Otsego, and Ulster counties. First elected on April 24, 2018, he has focused on issues like broadband expansion, COVID-19 recovery, tax reduction, farmer support, infrastructure improvements, combating the heroin epidemic, and aiding firefighters and first responders. Notable positions include Ranking Minority Member of the Agriculture Committee , service on committees for Election Law, Environmental Conservation, Real Property Taxation, and Tourism, Parks, Arts, and Sports Development, Vice Chair of the Republican Joint Conference Committee , and Vice Chair of the Steering Committee . A lifelong Schoharie resident and grandson of a World War II veteran, he previously served as Schoharie Town Supervisor .
