Biography
Chris McDaniel is a Republican Kentucky State Senator representing District 23 in northern Kenton County, elected in 2013. Born in Covington, Kentucky, and raised in Taylor Mill, he owns McD Concrete and has been active in construction industry leadership, including roles as President of the Greater Miami Valley Chapter of the American Concrete Institute, on the Board of Directors of Associated Builders and Contractors, and President of Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2010. He resides in Ryland Heights and is Protestant.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Attended Taylor Mill Elementary, Woodland Middle School, and Covington Latin School for high school; earned a BS from The Citadel in 1997; holds an MBA from Northern Kentucky University .
- Military Service: Commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, serving from 1997 to 2001.
- Political Experience: Serves in the Kentucky State Senate since 2013; involved in various committees and caucuses; has lectured at NKU and contributed to community education initiatives, including the Covington Latin School board and Ryland Elementary council.
