Biography
Chris Larson is a Democratic politician representing Wisconsin State Senate District 7, which includes parts of southeast Milwaukee County such as the cities of Cudahy, South Milwaukee, St. Francis, Franklin, Oak Creek, and Milwaukee. Born on November 12, 1980, and raised in Milwaukee County, he has served in the Senate since 2011, currently in his fourth term as Senate Democratic Caucus Chair . Notable achievements include defeating an incumbent in 2010 to become the youngest Senate member, participating as one of the "Wisconsin 14" protesting anti-union legislation in 2011, and chairing the legislature’s Milwaukee Delegation while serving as ranking Democrat on key committees like Education and Universities.
