Chris deGruy Kennedy is a Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 30 in Jefferson County, including Lakewood and Edgewater. First elected in 2016, he succeeded Max Tyler and previously represented District 23 before 2023 reapportionment. He won re-election in 2020 with 60.2% and in 2022 with 66.6%. Notable achievements include appointment as Speaker pro tempore by House Speaker Julie McCluskie, serving as vice chair of the Health and Insurance Committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
