Chris Judy is a Republican representing Indiana House District 83, which covers portions of Allen and Whitley counties. Born on May 24, 1978, in Wabash, Indiana, he has served in the Indiana House of Representatives since September 2014. A decorated veteran, Judy served in the Indiana National Guard from 2004-2011, including as a senior medic in Iraq in 2008, earning the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal. He currently works as an independent health insurance broker at TradeWell Tax & Financial, life insurance broker at Symmetry Financial Group, real estate broker at United Realty, and employee at General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly. Judy serves on committees including Financial Institutions, Veterans Affairs and Public Safety , Ways and Means , and Family, Children and Human Affairs . Notable community roles include board member of Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana, precinct committee member for the Indiana Republican Party, and lifetime member of the National Rifle Association; he and his wife Alena have two daughters.
