Chris Freeland is a Republican representing Kentucky House District 6, which includes Lyon, Marshall, and McCracken counties. Born on January 7, 1969, in Benton, Kentucky, he has served in the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 1, 2019. He is a member of the Church of Christ and involved in organizations such as the Lions Club, Kentucky Broadcasters Association, National Rifle Association, and Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. Freeland received the Lifetime Achievement Award from WCBL Radio. Notable electoral achievements include defeating Linda Story Edwards by 29 points in 2018, Al Cunningham by 43.8 points in 2020, and running unopposed in 2022.
