Biography
Chris Aniskovich is a Republican state representative for Connecticut's 35th District, which includes Clinton, Killingworth, and the northern half of Westbrook. He was first elected in 2022 with 50.96% of the vote and re-elected in 2024 with 50.5%, serving since January 2023 with his term ending in 2027. Notable positions include chair of the Clinton Town Council , member of the Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Assessment Appeals, and current Ranking Member of the Commerce Committee , alongside service on the Banking and General Law Committees. He supports increased funding for local police and prioritizes public safety, fiscal responsibility, and strong communities.

- Professional Background: Worked as a wholesale manager for Fairfield Financial Mortgage; owned Security Financial Mortgage Corp.; volunteered with the Connecticut Association of Mortgage Brokers .
