Charles "Chas" H. Cannon IV is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives serving District 172 since 2023. Born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, he has a distinguished military background, including active duty as a U.S. Army Officer from 2001 to 2014 in the Field Artillery branch, and current service in the U.S. Army Reserve's Legislative Affairs Division since 2015. While at West Point, he was a member of the Army Football team. Cannon serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and Environment.
