Biography
Charlie Miller is a Republican representing North Carolina House District 19, which includes parts of Brunswick and New Hanover counties. A Southport native, he has served in the House since 2021, following his election in 2020 after mid-decade redistricting created the district. He is married to Patty and resides in Southport. Miller advocates for public safety, quality education, infrastructure, veteran assistance, and economic development. Notable achievements include founding the Law Enforcement Caucus with over 40 members and serving over 33 years in law enforcement, retiring as Chief Deputy of the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.
