Altering the statute of limitations applicable to the crime of sexual extortion to be 5 years and the crime of stalking to be 10 years; providing that the State may institute a prosecution for revenge porn at any time; and providing that, for purposes of the Maryland Constitution, a person who commits revenge porn shall be deemed to have committed a misdemeanor whose punishment is confinement in the penitentiary and may reserve a point or question for a certain in banc review.

Charles Anthony Muse is the State Senator representing District 26 of Maryland. He earned his B.A. in Economics and Political Science at Morgan State University in 1974. Muse then earned his Master's in Divinity at Howard University in 1977. He went on to work as an economist and investment broker. In 2006, Muse was elected to the Maryland State Senate. He currently serves on several committees including the Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee and the Joint Committee on Children, Youth, and Families.
