Biography
Chad G. Reichard is a Republican state representative for Pennsylvania's 90th Legislative District, which includes parts of Franklin County. Raised in Franklin County and born in Chambersburg, he has served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2024. A fiscal conservative, he advocates for farmers, farmland preservation, workforce development, firearm owner rights, medical freedom, parental rights in education, pro-life values, defunding sanctuary cities, tax reduction, and reducing government regulations. He serves on the House Appropriations Committee and has called for more responsible budgeting to respect taxpayers. Reichard is Episcopalian and involved in community service, including St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Waynesboro Community & Human Services, Franklin County Farm Bureau, and past treasurer of the Franklin County Republican Committee.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Earned a Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in Public Budgeting and Finance, from Penn State University.
- Political Experience: Elected Supervisor, Supervisor Chairman, and Planning and Zoning Officer in Washington Township; Legislative Director in the Pennsylvania State Senate; District Legislative Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives; Chairman of the Franklin County Council of Governments. Elected to represent the 90th District in 2024 as a Republican.
